01When these rights apply
European and UK privacy law, several U.S. state laws (including Florida’s Digital Bill of Rights where we are a covered controller), and similar regimes give individuals rights over personal data. Account holders can self-serve most requests in the dashboard. End users who only saw an ad on a publisher site should email privacy@advertisersystem.com with enough detail for us to search.
The controller is AdvertiserSystem, State of Florida, United States. Full practices are in the privacy policy.
02How we verify a request
We will only complete a request after we reasonably verify it. For account data, signing in to the matching advertiser or publisher account is the primary method. For email requests we may ask you to confirm from the address on the account or provide information only the account holder would know. We may refuse unfounded, excessive, or third-party requests that lack authority, to the extent the law allows.
03Access and export
Sign in and open Privacy in your advertiser or publisher dashboard. Download a JSON export of your profile, campaigns or domains, wallet history (up to the export cap), tickets, notifications, and session metadata. That is our portability format.
04Correction
Update your name, email, or password from Settings in your advertiser or publisher dashboard. Email changes follow the verification flow. If a ledger or billed event is wrong, open a ticket; financial records are corrected by operators, not overwritten silently.
05Erasure
Request deletion from the Privacy page. That flags the account and opens a ticket. Operators then wipe sessions and login credentials, anonymize your email and name, and ban the leftover record so it cannot sign in.
What we may keep
We may retain billed events, wallet ledgers, and other records where tax, accounting, anti-fraud, or legal-claim rules require it. Those records are no longer tied to a usable login. Admin accounts cannot be erased through this self-serve path.
06Object, restrict, or withdraw consent
You can refuse analytics cookies at any time on the cookie policy page. Fraud, security, and billing processing is required to run the ad network and cannot be switched off while you use it. You can stop that processing by closing the account (advertisers/publishers) or by not loading our tag (end users / publishers).
07Automated decisions
Invalid-traffic filters may automatically decline to bill an event. Account enforcement that bans or withholds funds is reviewed by an operator. Ask privacy@advertisersystem.com or open a ticket if you want an explanation of an action that affected your wallet or account.
08Response times
Where GDPR applies we aim to respond within one month, extendable as that law allows. Where the Florida Digital Bill of Rights applies we aim to respond within 45 days, extendable as that statute allows. Other U.S. state laws have their own clocks; we will follow the one that applies to your request.
09Complaints
Contact us first at privacy@advertisersystem.com or via an in-product support ticket after you sign in. You may also complain to your data protection authority (for example the ICO in the UK, or your EEA supervisory authority). Florida residents may contact the Florida Attorney General regarding the Digital Bill of Rights after exhausting our appeal step described in the privacy policy.
